Fantastic! You’re Pregnant.
Acupuncture Can Help You Feel Great During Pregnancy.
Maybe you’re feeling great in your pregnancy and want extra support to stay feeling that way. Or maybe you don’t feel that great and have been having extra aches and pains, digestive problems, sinus troubles, anxiety, depression or something else is going on.
Seriously, growing another human is a really big deal! I help women like you during their pregnancies to resolve numerous pregnancy related issues. And, if there’s an issue I don’t think acupuncture is the right therapy for, I have a network of other healthcare folks I refer to to provide the best possible care for you.
Pregnancy acupuncture has been used in China and other eastern cultures to restore, promote and maintain good health and energy levels. Pregnancy acupuncture increases the probability of a full term pregnancy and decreases the possibility of miscarriage.
Pregnancy acupuncture is very safe and is an effective alternative at a time when you might choose to avoid taking medicine for minor ailments. Pregnancy acupuncture has been used safely and effectively for thousands of years to treat many conditions women experience during their pregnancy.

The 4th Trimester – Postpartum Support
There a many ways acupuncture and Oriental medicine can provide a lot of healing and rejuvenating support during postpartum. And unfortunately, there is not a lot within our healthcare system that provides or focuses on postpartum care and rehabilitation.
There is so much focus on fertility, a healthy pregnancy, labor & delivery for the baby and mother. But once the baby is born, women are basically told, don’t exercise and well see you in 6 weeks.
I cannot tell you how much I’ve learned from women, and from my own experience, about postpartum and the lack of support during this time.
It’s a very challenging time for women to get out to receive services that can help them, but I encourage it and here are some ways acupuncture and Oriental medicine can help:
- Postpartum anxiety
- Postpartum depression
- Pelvic floor issues, uterine and bladder prolapse
- Retained placenta
- Insomnia
- Lactation issues, low milk production
- Mastitis
- C-section pain recovery
- Exhaustion
- Irregular menstruation
